If you are looking for a fun and scenic way to explore the historic Erie Canal, you might want to try a guided E-bike tour from Lockport, NY to Gasport, NY. You will start your tour in Lockport, where you will have an introduction to the E-bike and how to use it. You will have a few minutes to test ride it to make sure that you are comfortable riding before we embark on the tour. Then, you will follow the Erie Canal Tow Path, a trail that runs along the canal and offers beautiful views of the water, the countryside and the fall foliage. Our tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable, and along the way will share stories and facts about the canal's history and significance. You will stop at Gasport, a charming village that has a marina, a park, and some shops and a restaurant where we can grab a bite if time allows. The tour is about 12 miles round trip and takes about 2 hours to complete. This tour is suitable for riders 16 years of age and up. Riders should be competant on a regular bike, before trying an E-bike. We will provide a helmet, and a NYS licensed guide, but you should come prepared with water, closed toe shoes and long pants.
